Where can I find a good photographer for headshots for acting and modeling in Texas?

Preferably in Houston. And I would like a photographer who will talk to me during the shoot. You know, make me comfortable so that the pictures that I take look good and comfortable.

Maybe check with local photography courses/classes?!
Photo enthusiasts often having a problem finding models, while they may deliver good quality work.
Maybe talk to the teacher first, who he/she would recommend, have a look at that person’s work and make sure that the model-release form doesn’t contain anything you don’t want to happen with the photos.
(And to be on the safe side, you can take a friend to the first shoot.)
If you allow them to use the photos for their portfolio, you may even get everything for free…
..and even if you prefer to work with professionals, the teachers or admins should have some contacts!
