What to get my baby's dad for father's day?

So father’s day is coming up and I want to get my unborn baby’s dad a present. We are no longer together but are great friends. I think he feels slightly left out because I’m obviously with the baby all the time and I’m already attached and formed a bond with our baby. I’d like to get him something to show him how much he means to me and our baby! He is 17, loves basketball, photography and music. Any ideas?

I think it is sweet you want to get him something though I am not sure he will appreciate it as much as you will have put into it, just considering his age… Father’s Day is about showing appreciation to Dads for being just that… DADS. And though I agree he is not yet a "Dad", it is nice to give him a little something to make him feel included. Perhaps a framed picture of the most recent sonogram?? The frame could say Happy Father’s Day on it. But I wouldn’t overdo it… for several reasons:)

That is a bit premature. He isn’t a father until the baby is born. You will find out how much he feels "left out" after the baby is born and he’s stuck with child support payments for 18 years.
