I’m a 13 year old photographer, currently I have a Canon PowerShot SD880 IS , but I want to upgrade to a SLR, but I’m not sure which one to get. I love taking macro pictures and pictures of animals. I prefer cameras with 10+ mega pixels, because do a lot of printing and cropping. I don’t know though, should I just stick to my point and shoot? Or upgrade?

look into the Nikon D3000
Maybe look into buying a Canon DSLR XTi and up (XSi, T1i) and you can buy a macro lens to go with it. I personally have the XTi and I love it.
I have a Sony Handy Cam Which takes excellent Footage and capture Beautiful Pics Cost Range $150 – $300.
I woud recommend Nikon D3000 10MP Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S DX VR Nikkor Zoom Lens

We have the Canon Rebel. You almost can’t help but take good pictures with it. It’s easy enough for the basic photographer and seems to have enough features for someone who wants something more advanced. Whatever brand you choose, don’t look just at the name of the manufacturer. Make sure you check the shopping guide for online reviews and you learn what each features does, so you make conscious decisions – http://www.imshopping.com/
