I’m doing my GCSE’s now, and i’d like to be a wedding photographer. I heard that you have to take Maths for A-Level, is that true? Also, what other qualifications do i need ?
I keep hearing that I need to find a good wedding photographer for my wedding in October 2010, but I don’t know how to figure out who is a good one and who isn’t.
What should I be looking for?
And I’m referring to photographers who work on a regular basis (A photojournalist. A portorit photographer. A wedding photographer. etc.) What are some aspects (both positive & negative) of being a digital photography that most people don’t realize? Details=10.
We live in the U.S. and got married in the UK last year and have yet to receive all that we were promised (and contracted) by our wedding photographer. We received prints but we were supposed to get the file of all the photos on CD with copyrights and a DVD of our photos put to music we chose along with a couple points of video throughout the day. What should we do next? He will not answer our calls or emails. We are to the point of hiring a lawyer to either get our money back or hopefully get what we paid for.
My wedding photographer has had a heart attack so i am frantically trying to find someone for my wedding on 7th August. With only less than a month i don’t have a great deal of time to research for best prices.
How much does the average wedding photographer cost for say the ceremony and evening event? Also i don’t suppose you can recommend anyone in the Surrey area could you?!!!

I need a wedding photographer that has a good reputation and cheap. My wedding is going to be small, just 25 people including the wedding party. I have everything together but the photographer. I just want pictures of my future husband, son and I. I would also like pictures of us at the alter and me walking down the aisle. The reception will be photographed by the guest with disposable cameras. I thought that would be a good idea to keep the cost down. What should I do?
I am getting married in a year and I was wondering what the common cost is today for a wedding photographer.

My fiance and I disagree on this. He thinks the wedding photographer SHOULD be able to use his flash during the wedding ceremony while I think it is tacky and rude. We dont have much time to recreate the ceremony after its over b/c we have very limited time at reception (morning wedding/ afternoon lunch @ Maggianos.. have to be out by 4pm sharp) What is proper etiquette?

I’m looking at wedding photographer costs and many charge according to how much time they will be there for. How long do people recommend and how much should that cost? I don’t need the getting ready pics, its a catholic wedding (mass), and we have the reception venue for 5 hours and I haven’t figured out how much time to put between the ceremony and reception (advice on this would be appreciated as well). Any thoughts on how long?
