I’m planning on starting my own photography business with many different types of photography, from sports, landscape, and even portraits. I plan on starting at schools for High School sports and then working my way up eventually. Does anyone know what a yearly salary could be averaged or anywhere close? Thank you so much!
Hi, I am trying to start a photography business, and have been doing photoshoots for people for almost a year now. I still consider myself to be amateur so I have only been charging around 40-50 dollars for each photoshoot. An experienced photographer looked at my work and said that I need to stop undercharging people for good quality prints. How much did you charge when you first started taking photos? Or how much would you expect to pay someone that you consider to be new to the business?
I am an amature digital photographer who has a lot of natural talent and would love to start my own business as a digital photographer without going to college. I want to do nature, outdoor, portrait, and artistic digital photography for people or businesses where I live in Kalispell, Montana. I have already taken over 200 outdoor digital photographs to build my own portfolio so my future clients can see my talent and skill with a digital camera. What I need to do now is market my skills and talents, find a need and demand for digital photographers in my town, find clients, and make a living with my own digital photography business. Does anybody have any good advice or suggestions for me? Please let me know. Thanks!
I would like to start a small photography business…nothing major as I am an amateur photographer and am not sure of myself/skills yet. I do think that I take pretty decent photos and have a great passion for photography but don’t really know how to begin. What kind of fairly inexpensive camera is a good start? I do have a Sony Digital Camera and a Canon SLR 35mm. Also, what other kind of equipment is imperative when beginning-just to look like you know what your doing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
One more thing before I forget, what is needed to take great photos of food/wine? Is there a special kind of setup that I would need?
I’m trying to start up a little photography business but I’m about amateur as amateur can get. I have a Nikon D3000 and I would like to buy a new lens for it. I’d like to stay under 00 but I want my pictures to look great! I’m mostly focused on baby photography.
