I want to become a photographer, probably for a fashion magazine. I just wanted to know what qualifications I would need!!
My fiance and I put down the initial payment for the photographer and received have a signed contract for her services. Now that it is closer to the big day we have tried contacting her to get the remaining details ironed out but we can’t get a hold of her. Calls go to a generic answering machine and emails are not responded to.
This of course has us very worried she might not even show up. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
I paid a photographer to take photos of my newborn. I also had to pay to obtain a DVD of the digital images which she says means I would own the print release (even though I’m not entirely sure what that means). She is using photos of my baby on her Facebook page to advertise her photography business and she is also using a photo of my baby on a separate website to sell baby accessories. Can she legally do this?
I am giving my little brother a bundle of products to help him pursue his hobby as a photographer. I am looking to buy a computer and a printer for him as well as software and any other peripherals that will help him maybe turn this into a career. Can you guys help me think of any peripherals that might help him as well as help in choosing a comp, printer and photo processing software.

A while back I saw a news story about a photographer who takes pictures of stacks of cargo containers, shipyards, recycling centers and other things that show the sheer, huge amount of stuff Americans consume.
