Once I’m out of college I want to know if I can possibly get an internship with one of the magazines that are in NYC? Mainly I want to find out HOW i can get a job there, do I have to fill out an application? Just walk in there and ask "I’m a photographer can I have a job?" or do I need to go online?

I have chosen a wedding photographer and I love his work. The problem is I have cut out a few wedding pictures from magazines that Ioved the style of the picture. Is it okay to ask him to do something like those pictures, or is that insulting?
For painting class, the teacher told us she will give a candy bar ( a legit one, costs more than 50 cents) to the first person who brings her a picture of a model where you can see the photographer in the highlight of the eye. I’ve looked through numerous magazines and I can’t find anything. Does anyone know where I might be able to find such a picture?

In magazines there are adds with women wearing sunglasses, but on the lens there is no reflection of the photographer. How is this done?
Thankyou so much Chris! That really helps! And for people who said photoshop, I have it, and there is no simple way to remove a reflection. You can remove glare without much difficulty, but a reflection is tough.
I am 17 and heading into my senior year in high school…im looking into future careers and i need to know what i should do. I would absolutely loveeee to be a photographer of animals. My dream job would is to be a photographer for animal planet or discovery or even magazines. What should i got to college for and what colleges? I have no clue what i would need to do. Please help! 
How and where do I find casting calls or photo contest to enter my 3.5 month old in? I live in los angeles and I would like to get my child into modeling for magazines and advertisements but Im a bit lost on where to start. It seems that all the information on the internet requires you to pay for agency addresses or to pay to enter your child into a contest.

I have entered my children in some of those baby photo contests……I just received notice that one won. Are they really legit. I just did it for fun. Do they really put them in magazines…..Any input from other mom’s???
