I am a amateur photographer, still learning all the aspects of photography and the how-to’s and what to do. I have my own photo studio in my house, but I am have trouble with a number of things. Advertising my photography. Outside of my photo studio I take event photography, but I do not think that anybody is willing to pay someone when they already have a digital camera. Comments, suggestions, please be constructive.

I am 14 and I have really been getting into photography! Sadly, the camera I use, it’s actually my parents, is broken(it still works you just have to reset all the settings when you turn it on each time, and the memory goes away) and its not really for photography. I don’t know anything about cameras, and I need to find a cheap one maybe at Walmart? I want a digital camera, and I would prefer it to take videos Thanks!

I dont really know about electronics and stuff like that but my 15-year-old neice wants a really nice camera for christmas. She really wants to be a photographer and she has had a normal digital camera but she wants to upgrade to something that can get her to this goal. My neice is an apiring photographer. She wants a camera that you can change out the lens like the 35 mm camera, but she also sees the benefits of having a digital camera. Is there a camera that can do both?
What would be the best camera to buy her for christmas? Now she’s just a junior in high school, so we aren’t talking professional camera with a professional price tag. Is there a camera possibly 0 or below that would work for her needs? I would definatly prefer as much under 0 as possible so i could do it alone, but if need be my brother and i could go intogether and go up to 0 or so.
Buying used is also an option, or ebay. However since we have no photography experience, we have no clue the price range, or the type of camera to look for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I am a complete beginner at photography and I want to experiment with an idea I have for a photo. The lightsource is going to be candlelight and I want to know how to go about doing that. I have looked on the net and I can only find tips on candlelight photography with a digital camera, which I don’t have. Can anybody give me any tips, or are the two cameras handled similarly?
