This probably sounds so dumb but I don’t know much about cameras. I love looking at great photography and have a baby on the way so I’d love to at least learn how to manipulate my little optio digital camera to at least work for me in that way. I always notice on professional photos that the face and especially the eyes are very crisp and clear while the background is blurred out in some way. How can I accomplish this?

I need one for my photography class. At the moment I have a pink colored sony camera, and it blurrs very easily (not good in the dark), and I want a professional, long lasting camera. I am looking for a camera that takes primarily good modeling shots, followed by nature, and great in the dark, not blurry easily AND durable.
I don’t have any knowledge with cameras and the qualities of each.
Could you help me out? Thank you.

I am a complete beginner at photography and I want to experiment with an idea I have for a photo. The lightsource is going to be candlelight and I want to know how to go about doing that. I have looked on the net and I can only find tips on candlelight photography with a digital camera, which I don’t have. Can anybody give me any tips, or are the two cameras handled similarly? Thanks.

I want to start taking pictures and I need some advice on a good camera to get for a beginner photographer. I’m trying trying to get a super nice one since I’m just starting. Not really a normal digital one either. Like something in between?
I don’t know much about good prices for cameras…I guess price range doesn’t matter.

I’m a beginner. I’ve used and fiddled with an SLR camera before, and I do know a thing or two about photography, but I’d rather start with a more simple camera for my own. I do have a price limit; about 0. I would like to get a Nikon or Canon since I know those are the preferred cameras for beginners. Any other information would be super useful. Thanks!

I want to subscribe t a photography magazine. I want one that actually teaches you and give you tips, not just oe that shows off other peoples photos…what do you suggest? THanks!
I enjoy reading about how well cameras perform, and photoshop tutorials as well…the only thing I don’t like is when the magazine is full of old photos from this or that photographer with a little story about them. I want something that I can read and learn new things from.

What cameras are really good for photography at pretty affordable price?
I am interested in photography and am taking a class soon, but in the mean time I need a better camera. Mine is one of the cheap 0 ones. It isn’t the best. What difference would it make if I got a more expensive one and which brands and makes are the best for what reasons? Thank you so much. I don’t know much about this and I appreciate the help! =)

I would like to take up photography, lately I have taken an interest in it. I was wondering what camera I should I buy. I found cameras but they are all expensive and I don’t have the most money. And I want my first camera to be a stepping stone where i will later replace with a better one.
So I was wondering what a good beginning (and cheaper) camera for photography is?
So you are saying I should just buy any digital camera as a beginner.
I’m not looking for film camera plus I have one of those.
