i am an amerture photographer and i use a Nikon D40 SLR camera. I was just wondering what equiptment I would need for a home photography business. I have been looking at these umberallas etc but have never used them before and am unsure if that is what I need. Am looking at doing baby and kids photography.

Well, i want to be a photographer just for fun! i don’t want to make a career out of it- no way.. but i want to make it a hobby.. i don’t really want to go to classes for it.. i just want a suitable camera.. i mean, i have had experience with film and photography… but i want to do something more personal for myself.

I’m traveling abroad next year and I want to be able to take beautiful photographs. Although I’ve never taken a photography class and I have no idea how to use any of the listed cameras, I can tell a good quality picture from an average quality picture. I am 14 and I have really been getting into photography! Sadly, the camera I use, it’s actually my parents, is broken(it still works you just have to reset all the settings when you turn it on each time, and the memory goes away) and its not really for photography. ok, so i love photography but regular people can go buy such great cameras and take their own awesome pictures even if they have NO skill. should i try going into photographing models or famous people or something? suggestions? and what classes for highschool should i take? or does that even matter…what about college?
