Vanessa Hosts Environmental Gathering in her Apartment

Nessa hosted a dinner party for Cape Farewell 2008 in her Nolita apartment Monday.
Among those in attendance were Julia Stiles, Moby, Martha Wainwright, and Feist.
Cape Farewell is an awareness-raising expedition to the Arctic Circle that will see celebrities and scientists alike studying climate change side-by-side. Find more information on the cause's website.
Nessa featured in new KOHL's Ad

Nessa, along with other artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Avril Lavigne and Plain White T's, will appear in the new campaign for Kohl's department stores.
Kravitz's song "Love Revolution" is what the spot is based on. Check out the commercial below:

Nessa to join Joshua Radin on tour this summer

Nessa will open for Joshua Radin for select dates of his summer tour. Alexa Wilkinson will also provide support for Radin. Nessa will travel with Radin's tour from July 15th through Augist 10th from the southwest, to the east coast, and finish her run in the midwest.

Vanessa to promote Komen National Race for the Cure

Breast cancer advocates and actors/entertainers Cynthia Nixon, Gabrielle Union, Ricardo Chavira and Vanessa Carlton will join Susan G. Komen for the Cure(R) Affiliates from across the nation next week for events and activities leading up to the 19th annual Susan G. Komen National Race for the Cure(R) on June 7.
Nixon, Union and Chavira will attend the 2008 Susan G. Komen National Race for the Cure(R) Eve of Race event at the Newseum, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Friday, June 6. Chavira will kick-off Komen for the Cure's Lobby Day on Thursday, June 5, joining more than 300 Komen Affiliate activists to advocate for enhanced investments in cancer prevention, treatment and research. Nixon, Union and Carlton will participate in the 2008 Komen National Race for the Cure on Saturday, June 7, where Carlton will perform following the 5K walk/run. Nixon, a breast cancer survivor, will join Susan G. Komen for the Cure founder, Ambassador Nancy G. Brinker, in leading more than 3,500 breast cancer survivors in the moving Parade of Pink during the pre-Race ceremony.
The annual 5K Susan G. Komen National Race for the Cure will be held in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, June 7, rain or shine. More than 50,000 participants from across the country, including 3,500 breast cancer survivors, will convene on the National Mall to lend their support -- and feet -- to help Susan G. Nessa's New PETA Ad

Doffing her hat to her beloved canine companion Victor and standing next to the tagline "Hats Off for Getting Fixed," Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Vanessa Carlton stars in a brand new ad for PETA. The classy black-and-white image was shot by ace celebrity photographer Mark Squires.
Carlton knows that practicing your ABCs (Animal Birth Control) is the best way to end animal homelessness.
"Most of the most well-adjusted and emotionally balanced dogs and cats are the mixed breeds found in shelters," says Carlton, who received [three] Grammy nominations for her 2002 hit single "A Thousand Miles." 26th Annual Fayetteville Dogwood Festival

Nessa will perform at the Dogwood Festival in Fayetteville, NC on Saturday, April 26th.

Nessa teams with Stevie again

EW.com is reporting that Vanessa and Stevie Nicks will appear on the PBS live music program Soundstage. COnfirmed songs, for their episode include Nessa's "The One" and Bonnie Raitt's "Circle Dance."
