How to get my photos from a photographer in a trade situation?

I was in a photo shoot for a jewelry company and the photographer will not send me my photos that were part of the agreement for the shoot. What can I do to get her to send me my photos? She is professional and has shot for magazines like Rolling Stone.

so if I understand correctly…
-you are a model
-you did a trade shoot with a photographer
-there was some sort of agreement between you and the photographer
-there is a jewelry company that has some interest in this shoot.
wow. there are LOTS of things that coulda woulda shoulda been a part of all of this. you really dont give enough detail on any of it for us to provide any sort of reasonable advice. so let me ask a few questions…
==was your agreement with the photographer in writing?
==what was the agreement?
==how long ago was the shoot? a day? a week? a month? a year?
==did the jewelry company get any photos from the shoot?
==have the photos been published?
==are there any other people involved? other models? makeup artist? hair stylist? wardrobe designer? art director? advertising agency? model or talent agency? marketing firm?
==would you know who all these people are and what their roles were?

The usual terms are, "you pay when you receive the product". In this case, when she turned in the CD with your images, that is when you were to have fulfilled your end of the trade.
Did you just give her the trade items in "good faith"?
If you cannot reach her, send her an invoice for the proffered jewelry. That should get her attention.

Be diplomatic and nice, remind them a few times. If that does not work you may want to consider seeking legal counsel. I would use that as an absolute last resort though.
Question..
was it in writing? If not then you may never see them..
did you get the job via an agent? If so have them work on it..
You may want the finished product anyway.. tearsheets to show and this may end up being what you get. Tearsheets are great to show as they say.. I did the work, it was printed and now you too can use me for work. Asking your agent or if no agent, the photographers agent/staff about when and where the photos end up so you can get tearsheets may end up where your at.
