How do people with newborn babies or in late pregnancy get clucky?

Like why are some of them clucky when they haven’t even had their first baby yet they are already wanting a second and some have a newborn and are wanting to try for another already? The reason I don’t understand it is because they already have the clucky trigger (the belly or the newborn) so where does their desire for a baby come from when they already have it?
