How do I go about becoming an animal photographer?
I’m interested in becoming an animal photographer, the kind that goes to other countries to take pictures/ footage of endangered animals, or just animals in general.
How would I go about this (colleges/ unis/ qualifications etc)?
If it makes any difference I’m predicted a B in art GCSE, but I’ve been getting A’s in my coursework/ practice exams.
Thanks alot

You need a lot more than just photographic knowledge to be a wildlife photographer.
Most of the best wildlife photographers have an in depth knowledge of the animals and are also accomplished in various things such as diving, mountain climbing, boating, languages as well as videography, photography,
If you’re wanting to go out in the boonies to shoot critters, you’ll need: a pro-level DSLR, one (at least one) helluva zoom/telephoto lens, money, patience, and talent. If you think you really need some fancy school, better be prepared to quadruple the cost…and hope you land a job. Your grades now mean squat.
Get a camera and start shooting animals around your neighborhood, people’s pets, at the zoo. Practice and practice and good luck.
