Hello! No she will not need any sort of id, I have 3 kids and have traveled with them a few times. To be on the safe side bring her birth certificate though. You also do not need to bring her car seat since you didn’t buy her a ticket. She will just have to be on your lap. You can double check about the formula and food but I think it may have to be unopened.
no birth certificate showing age with your name on it.you need car seat and they will allow feedings.
No, you do not need an ID for the baby. You may want to take a copy of her birth certificate, but that’s about it.
Yes, you can bring a diaper bag onto the plane with jarred baby food.. Its best to put the powder into the bottles rather than carrying a can of formula though. Then, when you get on the plane, you can simply ask for a bottle of water, or bring your own bottle of water. Then you can mix the bottles as you need them.
If you purchase your daughter her own seat, then yes, bring the carrier/car seat. You MUST purchase her a seat though if you want to use the car seat. Since she’s so young though, she can fly for free if she stays in your lap the whole time (or your husband’s lap or whoever), so no car seat would be necessary.
You can look it up online .. I know when my baby was 4 months old we had to fly. They never even asked me for so much as a birth certificate. Go to the airlines web page and see what the age limit is for a lap child. I am pretty sure you don’t have to book the baby. My friend flew over seas with her 2 year old and she was a lap child. You can take a car seat if you want so you have one when you get there. I didn’t I just used my sisters.
You can take her formula, but if you take any kind of a liquid you have to put them in a quart size sandwich bag or they won’t let you take it. Also you might just want to call the air line and let them know you have a lap child.
Hope this helps a little.
no you dont need an id…you might need her birth cert to prove age, but at her age you can tell she is still a baby. when you check in tell them you have an infant in your lap and they will give you a boarding pass for her as well..you can bring her food and milk through security, just leave it in the diaper bag when you go through and they will see what it is and it will be all good. she doesnt have to be in a car seat unless you have her own seat for her in the plane..other wise we always check the car seat and the stroller at the gate since you will need both when you get to florida..hope this helps
i havent traveld with a baby yet but when i do i am going to bring her ffood and her car seat i dont think they can tell you that you can feed your kid.
but with the car seat thing you have to buy the seat most plane on have 2 seat per side but in the middle there is 3 if you bring her then you will have to sit in the middle.
so wit a 9 month old i think i would hold her. and bring a STROLLER they wil sit that by the door, so when you get off you can have that. to put all the extra things you have in it.
but bring warm clothes if freezing down here
hope i helped
You should bring the car seat, if there is an extra seat on the plane it will be safer for her. If there are no extra seats, then it can be checked at the gate. It’s best to keep it with you (or gate checked) so you can make sure it gets on the plane. You will certainly need it when you get to your destination for any car traveling you might do.
You can bring her formula on the plane.
She is not required to have photo id, but if you can get it, it certainly won’t hurt. Just to be safe, I suggest you bring a copy of her birth certificate.
You don’t need an id for her, but I was asked to bring my son’s birth certificate. You can bring an entire diaper bag, but I think it will either count as your personal item (ie purse) or your carryon. I brought a back pack and my diaper bag on the plane, put the backpack overhear, and the diaper bag under the seat. You don’t have to bring her car seat if you didn’t buy her a ticket.
I just wanted to add that even if you don’t purchase her a seat on the plane, do bring her car seat. Unless the car you will be using when you get to where you are going already has a car seat that will fit her, you will still need one. They will let you carry it to the gate, and have it put under the plane. You will get it right after you land (so remember that if you have a connecting flight) Or, you could check it.
I had to fly across the country and back for my dad’s funeral with my (then) 4 month old. I had a stroller and a car seat that I did this with. The did unload it quickly enough for me to make all my connections, and I did this by myself. So, you should have no problem with people with you.
No, children do not need photo ID to fly.
