How can you become a professional photographer? Do you just submit your photos? and can you become one with a digital camera?

There are very few professional photographers who have not been using film for years … there are far too many shortcuts available when shooting digital cameras and in the end they will get the digiphotog into trouble.
Far too many bad habits will encroach causing dependence upon Photoshop to "save" bad images has already become nearly automatic among those who haven’t learned the "ropes" using film first
The key is knowing when it is appropriate to use digital and when it is imperative to use film and in what format. (35mm, 6×6, 4×5 or 8×10). If you don’t know or don’t know how to use a different camera, you are not really a photographer, but a camera operator
Yes, all the greats are using Digital now… Practice makes perfect…find a niche. What type of photographer do you want to be/ Do you want to take pictures of nature? Models?…etc. Once you find your niche….you can move in that direction.
