please anyone suggest me to buy the best photography camera and also give me some tips to be a good photographer.
I entered my baby in the great american baby photo contest and received an email back saying they published my baby’s photo in it. Its .95 to reserve and pay for a copy. I want to know if this is real.
I’ve recently taken up a photography course and I’ve found that taking action shots of public areas can be a real pain. I’m usually stopped by police saying professional photography is prohibited. I also find that approaching people and asking them if they’re willing to pose for a shot is equally as frustrating and can be embarrassing. Any tips on overcoming this?
He’ll be here anyday and I’m bored out of my mind being stuck in the house and not being able to move around much. I love all types of art and crafts. I don’t have a sewing machine but I can hand stitch something. I enjoy cross-stitch, plastic canvas, painting, drawing, candle and soap making, jewelry making, rug making, photography, scrapbooking/collages, etc. I also have a bedazzler which I haven’t used yet (not sure what I could make with that for a boy). I have a lot of baby clothes I could alter. Any ideas? 
I really want to be a photographer , and go to college for it , but how much $$ will i get out of it ?
I know of the standard websites like snapfish, ofoto, shutterfly, flickr, photobucket, etc. These sites are basically to share photos with the public (I know you can share with family and friends too) and/or its difficult to add comments if you’re not a member, etc. These sites are not really tailored towards capturing the first years of my baby and they are not set up really for non-members (ie. my grandmother). I want a site that I can easily share photos, keep a diary, record the baby’s growth (weight & height), etc. and be simple enough to have my grandparents come and take a look at the site and if they want to, they can order prints or albums. I have come across sites such as www.babyjellybeans.com and www.babysites.com. If there are any other ones, I would appreciate it.
I have a Nikon D40 and I am fairly new to photography. I use a MacBook Pro, and I have experimented with Aperture and Abode Lightroom. I really like Aperture. Any advice? Any advice for someone dabbling in photography would be greatly appreciated!
